DESCRIPTION:We’re proud to announce our new event: The MHCo Mid Winter Quizmas Fundraiser! \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned quizzer or just looking for a fun night out\, this event is perfect for everyone! Gather your workmates\, or get a group of friends\, and join us for a night of trivia. \n\n\n\nFor our inaugural quiz night fundraiser\, we have the pleasure of fundraising for: Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund.  \n\n\n\nAbout the Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund\n\n\n\nThe Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund\, established under the Acorn Foundation\, is dedicated to empowering and supporting women and girls in the region. This fund focuses on addressing issues unique to women\, fostering opportunities\, and creating positive change. Through targeted grants and initiatives\, the fund aims to improve health\, education\, and economic outcomes for women\, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive. By contributing to this fund\, donors help build a brighter\, more equitable future for women and girls in the Western Bay of Plenty \n\n\n\nThe Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund focuses on several key initiatives: \n\n\n\n\nHealth and Wellness: Grants to programs supporting women’s physical and mental health.\n\n\n\nEducation: Scholarships and educational opportunities for women and girls.\n\n\n\nEconomic Empowerment: Support for initiatives that promote financial independence and career development.\n\n\n\nViolence Prevention: Funding for projects aimed at preventing domestic violence.\n\n\n\nLeadership Development: Programs that enhance leadership skills among women and girls.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThese initiatives aim to create a supportive and empowering environment for women and girls in the Western Bay of Plenty. \n\nHow can you help?\n\n\n\n1. Get a group together\, book a table and come along for night of fun and fundraising! And/ or: \n\n\n\n2. Donate a prize for the night! We’ll be promoting businesses who donate in the lead up to the event and on the night.   \n\nQuizmas Details:\n\n\n\n📅 When: Thursday\, 15th August \n🕖 Time: We aim to start our quiz night at 7pm! Feel free to come earlier to grab a drink and a meal! \n\n\n\n📍Location: Crown & Badger\,  91 The Strand\, Tauranga \n\n\n\n🎟 Quizmas entry – $120 per team (max of 4 people per team) \n\n\n\nWant a drink on us?\n\n\n\nWe’ve put $$$ on the MHCo Tab!
