We’re proud to announce our new event: The MHCo Mid Winter Quizmas Fundraiser!
Whether you’re a seasoned quizzer or just looking for a fun night out, this event is perfect for everyone! Gather your workmates, or get a group of friends, and join us for a night of trivia.
For our inaugural quiz night fundraiser, we have the pleasure of fundraising for: Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund.
About the Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund
The Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund, established under the Acorn Foundation, is dedicated to empowering and supporting women and girls in the region. This fund focuses on addressing issues unique to women, fostering opportunities, and creating positive change. Through targeted grants and initiatives, the fund aims to improve health, education, and economic outcomes for women, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive. By contributing to this fund, donors help build a brighter, more equitable future for women and girls in the Western Bay of Plenty
The Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund focuses on several key initiatives:
- Health and Wellness: Grants to programs supporting women’s physical and mental health.
- Education: Scholarships and educational opportunities for women and girls.
- Economic Empowerment: Support for initiatives that promote financial independence and career development.
- Violence Prevention: Funding for projects aimed at preventing domestic violence.
- Leadership Development: Programs that enhance leadership skills among women and girls.
These initiatives aim to create a supportive and empowering environment for women and girls in the Western Bay of Plenty.
How can you help?
1. Get a group together, book a table and come along for night of fun and fundraising! And/ or:
2. Donate a prize for the night! We’ll be promoting businesses who donate in the lead up to the event and on the night.
Quizmas Details:
📅 When: Thursday, 15th August
🕖 Time: We aim to start our quiz night at 7pm! Feel free to come earlier to grab a drink and a meal!
📍Location: Crown & Badger, 91 The Strand, Tauranga
🎟 Quizmas entry – $120 per team (max of 4 people per team)
