He prides himself in not being a “typical accountant” and you’ll realise this as soon as you meet him. His experience over the last 12 years has ranged from SME business advisory to corporate level accounting, so he has a wealth of knowledge to call upon.

Peter once dreamt of being an All Black: “There’s still a chance,” he says. Passionate about sport he is also just as passionate about enabling clients’ success. We consider his technical ability a pretty big strength and his casual but professional approach means he is able to portray typically boring accounting jargon in a way that business owners understand and from this he helps them formulate plans for the future.

Rory is a Fully Qualified CA with over 10 years experience, he’s worked with a wide range of people over the years and really enjoys creating that personal relationship we believe you should have with your trusted advisors.
As smart as he is tall; he‘s a relaxed, patient and friendly guy to come in and chat with. Rory has a keen interest in technology so is happy to help with your IT problems or decision making. He has two BFG’s in training which keep him busy but in the downtime he enjoys most sports; especially Football (the one where you only kick it with your foot).

Katrina (or Kat) is the Practice Manager at MHCo. With her high energy and laser-like focus, she’s the secret ingredient that keeps our ship sailing!
Kat brings her A-game to help the team manage their workflow and ensures those sneaky tax returns don’t miss their deadline. You can find her at the desk, decorated in all things pink. After work, she might be out exploring the latest foodie hotspots with friends and family, or charming her colleagues into a drink for happy hour!

Sarah is a self-confessed nerd, with a serious passion for numbers. So much so that she started her career as a maths teacher at a local high school! Sarah has a calm positive and patient demeanour much as you’d expect from a sensei and so she is an absolute asset to our team and our clients alike. Sarah is a fully qualified accountant and has a real passion for helping, don’t hesitate to give her an email if you have any questions at all.

Aleisha has been working at MCHO for over 3 years now as a Client Manager and is a Chartered Accountant. Her bubbly personality and charisma bring an uplifting energy to our office that we absolutely love and rely on! She leads with enthusiasm and authenticity in all of her client relationships, and is fantastic at connecting with all the people she works with. Having a background in audit, she has amazing attention to detail and the quality of her work is always top notch.
Not only is she the queen of good vibes, she also runs two small businesses with her hubby Jonny, and is mum to her baby boy, Hunter and two doggos, Maverick & Mieka. When Aleisha’s not working, she might be out walking her dogs or getting some Vitamin D from the sun on the water, either jet skiing or wakeboarding!

You’ll easily spot Taylor in the office – she’s the one dressed in bright colours!

She fell in love with accounting as it gave her the opportunity to help people with their businesses and build great relationships with them. Something we the team here can resonate with!

Daniel is a Client Manager and is busy studying towards his Chartered Accountant qualification (he’s nearly there!) On top of this, he also works as part of our GST team.
We first met Daniel when he joined us as a summer intern before returning back to university to complete his accounting degree. He even got accepted in a graduate program at one of the Big 4 accounting firms.. but just like a boomerang, he couldn’t help but bounce back to us!
In his spare time, Daniel can be found playing golf, working out at the gym, and spending time with his mates.
Make sure you say hi when you come into the office next (hint: he’s the other tall one!).

Wendy plays the role of admin support, grandmother and all round great gal! Wendy’s main role here at MHCo is admin support and she does everything from booking meetings with clients to requesting data for year end financial statements.
She has a wealth of admin experience to call on and loves being efficient and professional. Outside of work her grandchildren take priority, but when shes not hanging out with them she loves to clean, drink fine wine and pamper her puppy, Braya!

Craig calls himself a bit of a sports nut having played a ton of sports over the years. He’s currently involved in hockey (managing teams) and play golf and is a bit of a quizzer attending a weekly quiz night. Craig’s been happily married to Karen for 35 years, and has 2 adult boys – Mitchell & Troy.
He originally began working life in banking – 20 years with National Bank, eventually being Manager of branches in Dannevirke and Hamilton. After leaving the bank Craig started his own businesses, primarily mortgage broking and ran a budget company. Latterly he has been assisting small businesses in a consulting role and now finds himself here at Maisey Harris & Co with the focus on helping business owners succeed.

Christa is our Marketing and Event Coordinator.
Christa has completed a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Marketing at the University of Waikato and brings her creativity and marketing skills to use. Having grown up in Hamilton, she is very interested in fostering connections with other Waikato businesses.
In her spare time, Christa can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen or spending time outdoors working on her running. She loves exploring the Waikato and is always on the lookout for new adventures.

Describing herself as “bubbly, fiery and never saying no to a beveragino”, Britt is a Chartered Accountant in our Tauranga team.
Britt brings a ton of energy and fun to everything she does – yes, even accounting!
Since opening the Tauranga office mid 2019, our Tauranga Director, Matt, had been a one-man-band on the ground, so he’s stoked Britt came on board to take the team to a total of two! Together they are supporting clients to help grow their business and absolutely smash their goals!
Make sure you say hey next time you’re in the office, she’s always up for a good chat and will prove to you our profession doesn’t have to mean boring!

Olivia is our fantastic Client Services Administrator! She is originally from England, having worked in Insolvency.
After finishing a seven-year stint in England, Olivia made her triumphant return last year, bringing back her (now) husband in tow! Despite her British nationality, Olivia is thrilled to be back in New Zealand.
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with her husband, and hitting the pubs (like a true Brit of course!)
We are pumped to have Olivia on our team. She truly is the Lifeblood of the team!

We are excited to welcome Anna to the MHCo family. With a strong background in accounting from the world of R&D robotics, we’re thrilled to have her onboard!
When she’s not crunching numbers, Anna’s green thumb shines in her veggie garden. You’ll also find her unwinding with a captivating book or taking part in a relaxing yoga session.
An avid traveler, she’s spent time living in Taiwan, China and England. She’s also a proud mom of two kids and two furry companions.
